Head to head
Head to head compares two players directly: their record against each other — by surface, tier, and round, and every match they've played — plus how their overall careers compare, side by side. Player 1 is always on the left, Player 2 on the right.
Always uses every match in the dataset — the filters below don't apply to this section.
Player win/loss averages
Global filters
Narrow every statistic, chart, and table below by year, player, tournament, surface, and/or tier. Applies everywhere on this page except Head to Head (always the full dataset) and Win/Loss averages (its own player picker, but the other filters still apply to it).
Applies to: the two charts and the table below
Surface breakdown
What: the share of matches in this view played on each surface. How: counted directly from the CSV's Surface column for every match in the selected year(s) — no surface is invented or excluded. Why: shows the tour's surface mix, and how the selected years compare to the full 2000–2026 period.
Upset rate by ranking gap
What: how often the lower-ranked player beats the higher-ranked (favored) player, grouped by the favorite's own ranking tier. How: for every match with a listed ATP ranking for both players, the better-ranked player is the favorite; an upset is a match the favorite lost. Rate = upsets ÷ matches with valid rankings in that tier. Why: shows whether upsets are more common against lower-ranked favorites than against the very best players.
Tournament spotlight
What: the strongest performer at one tournament, by win rate. How: computed only from matches passing every global filter above — pick a tournament in the Tournament global filter to see it here. Why: reveals who has actually dominated a specific event, rather than the tour as a whole.
